Thank you for being interested in working with us to use your photos for education!
So here is what we are thinking! In its infancy we will post a once a week series, i.e. your photo will be used roughly once a month. As we gain more interest and show this is great for education, we will expand to our photography partners having an entire week to show photography every couple months. So what are we looking for? Below are some examples of things that would be accepted in both photo or video format! These are not the only type of posts so please submit anything you deem educational or fun.
About You Post:
*We are also interested in potentially running raffles on your pages for your followers so they can win prints or other forms of your work.
*Note: We are looking to grow this in the future to group photographers into categories for IGTV "shows" that highlight different issues you see on the frontlines, like "Effects of human encroachment on migrating species" or "Ways photography can promote conservation".
About You Post:
- Your first posted photo will be a "Get to know me" style post. Picture(s) of you taking photos/in the field and a caption about how you got into it, why you still do it, and maybe a couple fun facts (Favorite animal/plant?).
- A photo and short bio about you that we will help create a "About the photographer" photo that will be added on every post.
- An animal people may become accustomed to in their own backyards that you can show in a new and fun light.
- A unique interaction between multiple individuals of the same or different species. Paired with a description of what you witnessed.
- Any insights to a changing environment or habitat. Paired with what you witnessed or are witnessing on a repeated basis. This type of post may require an approval beforehand to assure it aligns with our mission.
- Stories of you in your own community seeing things in a way others may not. i.e. maybe when you take a walk you see flowers in a certain way or you watch for certain birds.
- Tips for new photographers to get out and become better.
- A plant or animal that is lesser known that you have captured on your camera. Paired with a description about the species and the specific specimen you saw.

- Any fun stories from the field that you witnessed or experienced yourself! These can give people an insight into your life and what you may experience on a day to day while shooting. Your first post in this series will most likely be one of these types of posts so people can meet the person behind the camera before seeing your work over the following months.
